Privacy

Last updated October 2026

There is no sign-up and no account. Zaptide keeps what it needs to remember on your own device and collects only anonymous usage information.

Stays on your device

  • Your settings, favorites, recently watched channels and parental-control choices (including a PIN, if you set one).
  • Playlists, links, videos and files you add. Files are saved in your browser's storage and are never uploaded to us.

You can remove all of it from Preferences with “Reset everything”, or by clearing this site's data in your browser.

Anonymous usage information

We use PostHog and Vercel Analytics to see how the site is used: which channels are watched and for how long, page views, searches in the channel guide, which features are used, and errors. Events are anonymous. There are no accounts, no cookies and no session recordings, and we respect your browser's “Do Not Track” setting. Links, names and files you add yourself are never sent. Like any website, our hosting and analytics providers can see your IP address when your browser connects, which gives an approximate location such as your country.

Streams

Your browser usually connects to a channel's own server, which can then see your IP address. For some channels, our server passes the stream through, and then it is our server's address they see. We don't keep a record of what passes through. If you add a playlist link a website doesn't let your browser read, our server may fetch it for you and forgets it afterwards.

Ads

If ads are shown, the company serving them may collect information about your device and the ad, as described in its own privacy policy. We'll name it here when that applies.

Children

Zaptide isn't aimed at children under 13 and we don't knowingly collect information from them. Kids mode limits what can be watched on a device.

Your choices

Use Reset everything or clear site data to remove what is on your device, turn on Do Not Track, or block analytics in your browser. To ask us anything about your data, or to ask us to delete data we may hold, email [email protected].
